Dogs and humane education have been top priorities all my life. I have volunteered for leadership positions at several humane societies throughout the years. For a recent birthday celebration, we asked friends and business associates to bring dog food and donate to our local animal shelter, instead of bringing gifts and cards. We raised over $300 and had two SUVs loaded with pet supplies for our furry friends. Here Sean Richardson, owner of popular Maverick’s in Granby, Colorado and another dog lover and I show off the early donations to Grand County Pet Pals. I was a founding board member and President of this group for ten years.
